Museum Simalungun

This regional museum in the form of a traditional Simalungun house was built in 1939 and inaugurated with an adat ceremony in 1940. Its collection of about 866 objects includes Silapalapa stone statues from the megalithic era, pustaha laklak, weaving tools, and gold and silver jewellery.
