Bukit Simarjarunjung

This hill, about 1,300 m above sea level (Simalungun: Dolog Simarjarunjung), offers a panorama of Lake Toba and Samosir Island, with several photo spots such as Bukit Indah Simarjarunjung. At its foot once stood the sopo (meeting house) of the Raja Maropat.

About 1 hour from Parapat, about 1.5 hours from Pematangsiantar via Simpang Raya or Sidamanik.
